The Lord with You
You say the road is forever uphill.
But, the Lord will forever fulfill,
YOUR ONE AND EVERY NEED.
As you trod the aisle of the road you're on,
Through every battle and trial,
The Lord walks with you every single mile.
Knowing this, may you smile.

You ask where is thy hope,
So you may cope,
When you feel at the end of your rope.
My friend,
At the end of your rope, trying to cope,
There is hope.
Sealed within the promises from thy lord.

My friend,
Put down the shield,
And yield to your father's love.
Out streatched are his arms,
Run to him,
And be consumed,
In the love waiting for you.

You're feeling blue,
I know for i've been there too.
And that is when,
I pray and say amen.

My friend,
Hand in hand the Lord is holding you,
Walking with you,
He loves you,
With you always he is.

Again when you ask,
Where is thy hope,
To get you through,
Close your eyes,
And feel the Lord Embracing you.

My friend,
Through the Lord,
You will find your hope,
Be able to cope,
No longer at the end of your rope,
Every step, Every Mile,
Thank you Lord for Giving us Hope.
Now,
I can smile.

This poem was written for a lady at church. Sunday evening she got up and begin to speak how she has been thinking suicide. Her story touched me and it is then i was lead to write the above poem for her.....

Also, at the Sunday evening service after this lady got up and shared about her problems, thinking suicide...And the question how can one continue to walk on when depressed....
I shared with her the following poem that i had written several days before....
May this poem also bless you.....

I have cried in the darkness, the storm was ragging.
Dark clouds formed - through the rain, wind, and thunder.
A voice broke through.
     "Precious child I am here, I will walk with you through the storm.
     Look ahead my child, beyond the storm.
     The beautiful rainbow awaits you, please my child don't give up,
When you've done all you can do, he is there to get you through.
Broken, weary, dismayed you may be, the Lord is there.
Walking with you toward the rainbow, envoke on the beauty of a storm.
The Lord holding you - carrying you - He is able.
Through the trials of ones storm.
Hear the voice breaking through shouting to you.
     "Cast unto me your every need, in thy will there is a way.
     Place your hand in my hand, precious child.
     Together we will battle the waves of thy storm.

There is nothing the hand of God can't do.
Trust and obey - press on, in the darkness sit and pray.
I am his, He is mine, seek I will find, knock and then open.
Trust him, obey - keep the faith.

The voice of the Lord breaks through.
     "Look my child, the rainbow you awaited for.
     You pressed on, never gave up, walked on, let your faith see you through.
     Your reward my child WALK ON, into the Heavenly Streets of Gold."

JULY 2001

For everything there is a season,
And a time for every matter under heaven:
A time to be born, and a time to die;
A time to plant, and a time to pluck up what is planted;
A time to kill, and a time to heal;
A time to break down, and a time to build up;
A time to weep, and a time to laugh;
A time to mourn, and a time to dance;
A time to throw away stones,
And a time to gather stones together;
A time to embrace,
And a time to refrain from embracing;
A time to seek, and a time to lose;
A time to keep, and a time to throw away;
A time to tear, and a time to sew;
A time to keep silence, and a time to speak;
A time
to love, and a time to hate,
A time for war, and a time for peace.
Ecclesiastes 3: 1-8

 Why Suffering?
Accidents, illness, disease, age often bring suffering we cannot explain.
Even Jesus Christ did not explain the mystery of suffering. He tried simply to relieve it where he could. And as his life ended, he took it on himself.
Jesus taught not to give in to sickness, but to fight to regain health. At the same time, he showed what indirect blessings sickness sometimes brings.
What blessings can sickness bring? It reminds us how dependent we are on others, and above all on God for life!
It makes us see how precious life is.
It invites us to believe, to call for God's help, to accept God's way, and to grow in confidence that whatever lies ahead, all will be well.
